Catherina Lola (b. 1995, Barcelona) is a multifaceted artist who works and overlaps different mediums such as painting, ceramic, photography and drawing. She composes personal visual scenes that explore the mundane materiality of her world through the representation of everyday objects and cultural iconography. Through her work she evokes questions about time, place and belonging inspired by the tender visual approach of slow cinema. She studied design and fine arts in Montréal and now works and resides in Barcelona.
